Payments: Frequently Asked Questions
There are a number of ways we can accept funds to settle your account and it is easier than ever!
Payit™
You can now pay for your purchases online with our new 'Payit™' service. Simple as 1-2-3!
- Go to ‘My Vehicles To Be Paid’ section under your Dashboard.
- You will then be able to select the vehicle(s) that are outstanding on your account and which you would like to pay for before reaching ‘Checkout’.
- Once at ‘Checkout’ you select the ‘PayIt’ option, follow the next steps through to your online banking provider and complete the transaction.
If the payment is successful you will get a receipt outlining the details, including the bill of sale which is located in the vehicle history section listed under My Auction Centre.

Other Payment Methods
In all cases the bank details shown below should be used and your buyer number must be included with the payment to ease identification of your funds when we review our bank account.
UK Bank Transfer -

Foreign Bank Transfer - The transfer should be made in £ Sterling (GBP). In addition you will need to include an extra payment to cover any bank charges suffered by IAA which at the moment are typically £7 GBP.
Cash - We no longer accept payment by cash.
Paying at Site – Currently you are unable to payment at any us sites, this will be closely reviewed in line with current guidelines from the UK Government.
Please note: Vehicles will only be released once confirmed funds are identified, cleared and allocated to a buyers account.
When paying IAA you must provide a copy of your bank receipt and also complete and send a Payment Notification Form which can be found by clicking here. Failing to send the correct paperwork will result in a delay in allocating your funds and therefore a delay in releasing your vehicles.
